155 landcare associations work in Germany to conserve and maintain our landscapes, which have been developed for centuries. How Landcare Associations work and what projects they carry out is described here.


Landcare in Europe

Landcare Europe is a network of different european organizations to exchange experiences about the European Environmental Policy and to achieve common goals on an European level.


Landcare worldwide

An international cooperation between the DVL has started with Australia, where landcare has been carried out since the 80ies, a few years ago. In the last years the landcare movement has growing and many organizations joined the worldwide network Landcare International to learn from each other and exchange experiences. The DVL is also founding member of the Satoyama intiative which supports the develpment of landscapes local peoply rely on.
